[Opinions] Evan?
WDYT of Evan for a boy? Does it sound too much as a surname, or a girl's name? Favorite Emma combos:Emma Catherine

I really like the name Evan. I think it is very masculine, and could never imagine the name on a girl, even though it has probably happened. ~Tia~

I really like the name Evan! I don't think of it as a surname...Evans, yes, but not Evan. I don't at all think of it as a girls' name. I think it's very masculine.

I don't mind Evan. It is definitely a boy's name! It doesn't sound girly at all. And it doesn't sound too much like a surname

I love Evan, for a boy. I dont know why you think girl...but its completely masculine to me. I prefer Evander to Evan, but I still adore Evan. Great name~~Kris~~

Evan is a nice name for a boy. I really dislike it for a girl.

No, it doesn't sound even slightly like a girl's name, but it has been used for girls, unfortunately (actress Evan Rachel Wood, and I know a little girl named Evyn, pronounced like Evan, who is named after her grandmother, Evelyn). I've heard of the surname Evans, but not just Evan. It's ok, for a boy, but not my favorite name. It seems a bit trendy at the moment, but nowhere near as popular (yet) as Ethan.

I love Evan for a boy, and I don't think it sounds like a surname or a girl's name at all. It is increasing in popularity in the U.S., though, so it puts me off a little.
Yes, you want her.
Look at her, you know you do.
Possible she wants you too.
There is one way to ask her.
It don't take a word,
not a single word.
Go on and kiss the girl.
