Paige Lucia
What are your thoughts on this name combined with an italian last name? I have been struggling with middle names and was thinking about sophia, which I love... but then came across Lucia. It has a similar sound but is a little more exotic and is italian. I love Sophia but was thinking of avoiding it due to popularity. Also considered Annabel, but not loving the flow with Paige.I would pronounce Lucia, "lu-see-ah".

Hah, funnily enough, Annabel Paige is one of my top combos. :D Paige Annabel doesn't have quite the right flow, though, I agree.Paige Lucia is nice. It does seem a little mismatched somehow, though. Hmmm. What about:Paige Amelia
Paige Antonia
Paige Camilla
Paige Celia
Paige Claudia
Paige Helena
Paige Lydia
Paige Marina
Paige Rosa
Paige VivianaJust a few thoughts!

Paige Lucia has a really cheerful, exuberant air to it - very friendly and smiling. I knew a Paige once, she was a dreadful girl, but so adorable to look at. Paige is a very "cute" name. Annabel Lucia is soooo gorgeous, do try to reconsider it! Paige Lucia is nice but Annabel Lucia is just so elegant and regal. What about Annabel Lucy, that is also supercute and sweet, and sounds like a Pre-Raphaelite poem.

thanks, I am glad to hear that some people think Paige Lucia sound good together. this combo is really starting to grow on me.I like Annabelle as well, it is surprising because the name is a little frillier than I normally like. Unfortunately my husband isn't as keen on it....so I think I probably can't consider it much for a first name. My other concern about it is the trendiness of the "belle" and "bella" names. I know I would use the nickname Belle and I hate being trendy! I wouldn't want her to be one of 5 "belles" in her classroom... lol :)He seems ok with Paige though. I just hope it sounds ok, I don't want to have buyers remorse on the name :)

I really don't like Paige at all, but the flow works well and Lucia is pretty and Italian :) I agree about Sophia being too popular.

I don't like Paige very much, but I love the name Lucia. But if Paige is a family name or something, it's fine. :) However, the names seem almost too different -- Paige is not exotic enough for Lucia.

I think Paige is very pretty. I like simple and sweet names and this name to me has a little spunk.I don't see anything really different about Lucia and Sophia style wise and I think Paige Sophia sounds very pretty together, so I am not sure why Lucia wouldn't work...but I guess we all view names differently. I don't see Paige as a boring name at all (obviously).

Sorry about the Paige criticism. I met someone unpleasant named Paige, so it kind of ruined the name for me. :/ Most people I know love the name, so I guess that means it's good. And I'm starting to notice the spunk and sweetness to it. :D

Ditto...I also don't like Paige because of an association. I'm starting to like Paget though, so that might mean I'll like it eventually.

Paget's cool. :)

Violetta, it seems obvious from reading some of your posts that you and I have very different taste in names.... so though I appreciate all opinions, I don't think we would likely ever see eye to eye about much (name wise anyway). It sounds you like very exotic and unusual names, whereas I am more conservative in general. I don't want a name in the top 40 if I can help it... but I am ok with a name in the top 100. I don't like overly eccentric or unusual names.
