Helpweird question LOL WRONG BOARD
Someone on facebook just posted that their pet "blossom" died and put up this pic along with it.
I have no idea what's going on in this picture or even what kind of animal it is. But none of the commenters seem to be perturbed.
If you can tell what it is, could you sorta walk me through it? Like what features helped you to come to this conclusion?
oh my god i figured it out. i couldn't get past the perception that the space in the middle of its body was its EYE, and so I thought its ear was its tongue or something. wow that was one of the weirdest things I've ever experienced.

LOL...it's a cat, but I see you already know that. At first glance, it looks kind of weird...the color of the cat and the color of the bedspread is almost the same.
To stay on topic: Blossom is too cutesy a name for me, even for a pet. And it makes me think of Mayim Bailik, because I am old.

I'm cracking up too. If I try, I can see the face you're talking about. It looks kinda nightmarish. Especially if I imagine the photo was taken after the "animal" died.

hahaha I thought it was some kind of game and that I was too stupid to figure it out :P I never thought you really couldn't tell it was a cat :) I'm curious what the others will come up with! Maybe there are some other users who see the animal you saw!

I totally thought it was a pig's head for some reason.
Then I looked at it again and could clearly tell it was a cat.
