Re: Is finally pregnant, but...
Congratulations! I don't think any of these names would make your child resent you. Whether your family likes them is more delicate, ultimately it's your child and whatever you choose, names become lovely when they're associated with someone you love. Haha sappy I'm sorry.I love Sibyl / Sybil, it's sharp, clear and intelligent. I think it's the kind of name that grows on people once they hear it enough, it becomes fresh. And Sybil nicknamed Billy would be pretty amazing, I prefer that to Liby. I suppose it's not a conventionally pretty name, or as easy to wear as some of your other favourites, but I don't think she'd ever get picked on for it. It's beautiful.Eva is gorgeous, it's one of my favourite names, so much power in 3 letters! I don't know how you say it, I would say Eeva and I don't think that's too close to Ava, Eva's a familiar, classic name that people will recognise. But if you're saying Eyva or similar, that would be confused with Ava. Maybe Eve would avoid the similarity, it's still beautiful but not so sweet. Eva is probably my favourite from your list.

Aoife would cause difficulties for you, it's not that uncommon in the UK and I've met Aoifes who weren't at all Irish but people have trouble with it here too. It's not hard to say, the pronunciation is just unintuitive so once people hear it said there shouldn't be a problem, but you'd have to be prepared to spell / say it for people a lot. I don't think it's too similar to Ava but it's very close to Eva, and out of the two I prefer Eva (however you choose to pronounce it). Similar sound, none of the difficulties, it's also got a strength and simplicity that Aoife lacks.

Charlotte is nice and I love Lotte (I feel like Lotte could stand on its own), but it seems to be rising in popularity if that bothers you. That said I know plenty of Charlottes but only one Lotte, so her nickname would distinctive. I have nothing to say against Charlotte except that it lacks the energy of your other names. It seems closest to Aoife in style, they both have a kind of ethereal feel - not a bad thing necessarily.Audie is charming as a nickname, but I wouldn't use it on its own. It is too close to the car and the word audio. Does Audrey have the same problem as Audra? I don't think Audie is bad or unusable but it's not my favourite.Beatrix is beautiful and I think it sounds good with Lennon. It kind of reminds me of sunshine, it's lively but smart, soulful too. But just wait and see if you warm up to it. Maybe actually hearing it used would help you decide.Mina is nice, kind of sharp, it reminds me of the word miniature. Not bad at all but I like your other names more.I love Celie too! Celeste is lovely, airy like Charlotte but I like it a lot. Also love Celie as a nickname for Celia and Cecilia / Cecelia / Cecily.

I like Eva a lot more than Eveny, Eveny just looks like even crossed with ebony and feels like an unecessary elaboration. If you like Eva, go for it. It's the most beautiful and simple. Or there are other pretty Ev- names like Evadne, Evelyn, Evangeline or even Everild. Good luck!
