I want a male barn owl named Taliesin. I also considered the names Perseus, Antares and Arcturus. Or some other name that sounds magical or some other constellation / star names would also work.
Or I'd want a female barn owl named Noctua. Noctua is an old constellation, it was a small owl. Other good names are Selene, Luna, Artemis or Diana.
I have to mention that I love barn owls. They are so pretty. My grandpa told me that people sometimes think they have seen a ghost but it will really have been a barn owl. In the wild I've only ever seen barns owls and once I did see a snowy owl.
The snowy owl was on top of my elementary school and some people came to collect it so they could find a safer place for it than the city. I only barely got to see it from afar.
If I didn't have a barn owl I'd choose a barred owl. I like all owls but some of them look really fierce like the eagle owl. Those owls just wouldn't suit my personality. I love how the barn owl has an air of mystery and mysticism. Their faces are masks that hide their intentions from our sight.
