Re: sighting from work

Ugh. Horrible. Surname that is not attractive as a first name on a girl---what else is new these days? More and more of them will keep on coming, so pretty soon I'm expecting to see a surname such as Miller or Cooke on a girl.Kinsey also makes me think of Alfred Kinsey, who, back in the late 1940s and early 1950s, published research on human sexuality that shocked and outraged the public, although it doesn't seem too shocking today. The name Kinsey became rather notorious at that time. But I think that I have many associations that the majority of people don't.

I actually know someone who is planning on naming their baby Miller if they have a girl. :( If it's a boy they want to name him Harry.

Nooo! Miller for a girl! Oh my gosh I was kidding, but now I think I got the attention of the name gods and they decided to punish me for my hubris! Oh Lord.I do, however, really like Harry. Let's pray it's a boy.

I automatically think of the Kinsey report, and snicker.

Me too. And Kinsey scores. Just don't give her the middle name Seven, right?
