I suspect (hope) this girl was kidding. Beulah. Honestly.
I've said a lot of names are servant names to me, but Beulah is the queen of servant names. I picture Beulah as a maid in some crummy 1940's movie, a big black maid in a uniform and her head tied up in a kerchief, going around saying "Lawsy, Miss Kate!" and rolling her eyes and wringing her hands. Ugh.
