I don't think it's terrible. I don't mind Cade at all, and if it weren't for the -aydens, I might even really love it. Kade does look like a misspelling, but I wouldn't describe it nearly as terribly as you did. :) Mainly, I think both Cade and Kade are super boring now, because of the bajillions of Cadens around.
