Re: Essie Caroline Blaze

Essie Caroline Blaze doesn't suit eachother but it's not terrible, though that combo does suit Bonnie Codie Tartness, they are both very odd combos. I would have much preferred Estelle "Essie" or Rosemary "Romy" to just plain Essie. But Essie does go well with Bonnie it matches more with Bonnie but on their own merits I prefer Romy slightly to Essie.
It sucks that S's partners sister stole their name from them, if I was in S's place especially if we already didn't care for each other I would be like whatever I'm still using it because it's our favorite name too. My sister-in-law and I love a lot of the same names, I'm not going to not use one just because she may or may not use it some day even if it is her favorite.
I like Bartholomew Francis / Frances and Barthelemy Francis / Frances more than Bartholomew Frederick and Barthelemy Frederick. All of them though sound like Catholic saints or Pope's names.

Tartness. Lol.
They are awful jumbled names, I must agree.
TBH, I've never met the sister, but I hear she's a really, really irritating, self-centred, loud type who rages and temper-tantrums until she gets her way - spoilt and manipulative. I can get that they opted for a quiet life, but it's still suspicious how she said nothing when they were considering Rosemary/Romy, and then when they'd nearly decided, then she had a problem with it. Ehhhh... that's odd to me. I think she was doing it to be mean, but what do I know? If I'd been in S shoes, I'd have pointed out that it was me having the baby, and she'd have to find another name if/when she had a daughter - but I think S saw it as either a) choosing another name or b) choosing Romy and being harassed by this nightmare woman for ages. Ack. I dunno.
I agree that Francis/Frances flows better, and since it's honouring, they'll probably go with that. I think they have a pretty devout Catholic connection, so maybe they wanted quite Christian-themed names... again, just guessing. I'm not -hugely- close to this cousin.
