Help5 Boy Sib Set Spotted
A family with 5 boys joined our church this past weekend and their names are:
Zeus (8)
Knox (6)
Mac (4)
Beau (2)
Lark (2)
I thought it was an interesting sibset. I wish I knew their middle names!

Zeus---if this isn't a one-god name, it should be.
Knox--has always seemed feminine to me. I can't see it on a boy. Not great on either.
Mac---No, not as a full name! Dumb sounding anyhoo. Max isn't, Mac is.
Beau---I've always hated this. BO--it's just dumb.
Lark---are you sure this one's a BOY? Poor kid.

Zeus seems awfully silly for a person. I would expect Zeus to be a big dog.
Knox just sounds like knocks to me.
Beau is cheesy.
Mac is a fragment of a name.
Lark sounds girly, but not really a name at all.
In short, the sibset is awful.

I do like the look of the set - all short and one syllable. Nice and clean. But as for the names themselves...
Zeus seems like a really conceited name to give a kid.
Knox feel too celebrity-ish for me.
Mac I love! I'm a sucker for any Mac- names, and just Mac too.
Beau isn't my style, but I can appreciate it on someone else's kid.
Lark is intriguing, yet feels a little feminine.

Take it a step further (if I may)
I love how uniform they look in syllables and letters. (Should have spelled it Mack!)
Let's give them middle names that all have to have the same number of syllables. As in if you choose a two-syllable middle name for one, then they all get two-syllable middle names.

Lark Mateo or maybe Lark Sullivan

I'm not sold on Zeus, but overall, I like the sibset.
I do like Knox, Mac (as a nickname, especially for Mackenzie), and Lark (although for a female, not sure how I feel about it on a male). Beau isn't really my thing, but it's not awful.

I like that combo a lot! Especially Knox, Mac, and Beau...gotta bet that their MNs are awesome...
