Snowballing "Christobal"
So the name Christobal triggered something for me that I want to explore. I think I quite like the name Christobel or Christobella. I want to play around with some variant spellings.Christabelle, Christabell, Christabel

I knew a little girl with this name, and I believe it was spelled Christabel. She went by Belle which I thought was nice too. I agree that I probably wouldn't use this name, but it was refreshing to see on a little girl.I think I prefer the Christabel spelling, as it seems the most traditional to me and less likely to be misspelled (which is funny because I prefer Cristina over Christina).

Christabel, like in Coleridge. I like it.Variant spellings don't really appeal to me. The -bel ending has a certain vibe that clashes IMO with more modern looking spellings. Cristabel is alright because it just looks Spanish like Isabel.
