Lots of interesting names from school photo book
I know that American schools usually publish a yearbook. Swedish schools usually have a sort of photo catalogue instead, with photos of all the students, teachers and school organisations (theatre clubs, sports clubs, etc) in an area. I have choir rehersals on Wednesdays in a school and I found a big, thick school photo book lying on a table. Ohhh, all the NAMES! I actually smuggled it down in my backpack...I'm gonna bring it back next Wednesday...
'nuff said...on to the names!FEMALE

Hahaha, det var ett blädderexemplar! :PThe kids aren't really kids, they are between 16 and 19. Or, they were. The catalogue was for 2011-2012.
I would guess Sigridur is really written with, uh, that Icelandic letter, her surname was Icelandic, but it was really written with a Swedish D here.
BTW I fell in love with the name Ellentine. And I was surprised to see that Vide is Old Norse, I thought it was from the plant (willow in English).

Liviana and Romain are standouts! But not very Nordic-sounding.
