Mayim, for a boy
I've liked this name in a boy for awhile now, but it's just recently caught my attention as a favorite. What are your opinions on the name Mayim? Particularly in regards to its use on a boy

I really like the name, but only for a girl. It seems odd to me for a boy, sorry.
To clarify pronunciation...
It's said, "MY-im"
It's said, "MY-im"
I think that all of the Blossom and Big Bang Theory fans (or those who just know about them) out here know that. When I said it sounds like Maya in my previous post, that's because I pronounce Maya /MY uh/ (schwa in the second syllable), which to me is close to /MY im/. The database here also says it's feminine.
I was clarifying for anyone who hasn't heard it before- since at least 2 people thought it was said with a "May" sound instead. I know it's classified as feminine, that's why I specified "for a boy" in the title

I think it sounds better on a girl.
Unfortunately it just makes me think of "mayhem." Not a great association. Sorry.
I'm not that sure how to pronounce it. It also reminds me of the word 'maim', which is not such a great thing.
Ditto (or tritto?) the both of you. Plus Mayim just sounds and looks very feminine to me.
