My neighbour's 10th cat!
Ginger kitten George joins the 9-strong clan of cats;
Felix - black and white
Fagin - grey Siamese cross
Billy - black {Polly's brother / Maggie's son}
Freddy (Freddy-Bear) - black {Freddy has brain damage}
Polly (Polly-Ann) - fat tabby {Billy's sister / Maggie's daughter}
Maggie - tabby with thick black stripes {Billy & Polly's mum}
Lyla (Lyla-Rae) - fluffy beige something from Greece
Gabi (Princess Gabriella) - traditional Siamese
Beth (Bethany) - long haired black {mum was Amber / brother was Tom. Both now deceased}They've also got a Bichon Frise dog called Poppy (Poppy-Ann).Personally I think she's insane.

10 cats? Is your neighbor the Crazy Cat Lady from The Simpsons?

It's funny you should say that because when she posted a picture of George on facebook one of her friends replied with a picture of the Crazy Cat Lady! :)

As names, I like Felix, Gabriella and Bethany.For cats, Polly-Ann and Freddy-Bear are pretty cute. Lyla-Rae is not bad either.Mostly, I'm impressed that you know all the names, nicknames, and which cat they are attached to. Wow! I don't think my neighbours know which of my three kids is which!

I'm close to her daughter who is only three years younger than me and used to be close with her son who is three years older so I have quite a bit of contact with her. My mum and I also look after the cats when she goes away. :)

Aww, how sweet! I just hope they can look after them all - that's a lot of kitties. I've only ever owned one, and I often thought -he- was a handle all by his own. 3, 4, 5 kitties, I can understand, but I think it must be tough to make sure -10- cats are healthy and happy. I hope she manages it, though.
Anyway, George is an adorable name for a ginger cat. I also like Felix (but it's so cliche), Billy, Freddy (if I were to get another cat, I might have called him Freddy... but then my cousin went and named her son that. Freddy-Bear is adorable as a nn), Polly (eh, I guess. Maggie too. NMS but cute on cats), and Lyla. I don't like Lyla-Rae, but Lyla's pretty nice on a cat on its own.

There are some good names here. Felix is great for a cat and I like Fagin, Polly and Maggie.I can't imagine having 10 cats! Four is more than enough (and on some days, too much).

I expect she's got a big heart. I'm a cat-lover myself. Of course, there is a cat-collecting mania which spirals out of hand and is good for neither the animals nor their humans. But I think she's still on the sane side of that.
The fact she calls the animals by human names probably points to the fact she sees them as friends and equals, I reckon.
