Lorraine
Im in love with the name Lorraine. Its a family name. I really can see myself having a little girl named Lorraine with the nickname Lori. Which middle name sounds best?
Lorraine Alice (the one I prefer)
Lorraine Clarisa (clah-riss-ah)
Lorraine Judith
Lorraine Austyn (after me?)How do you like the name Lorraine with the nickname Lori?

I have a soft spot for Lorraine, because it was my grandmother's middle name. :)I like Lorraine Alice, and Lorraine Austyn has a spark. I don't like the nickname Lori. Every Lori I know is obnoxious, so it's not my favorite.

Lorraine is my mother's name and she has been called Lori; that was what she was almost always called when she was younger and we lived in Oklahoma. A couple people call her Rainey but that's never caught on. Now she is pretty evenly split between people who call her Lori and those who call her just Lorraine. My stepfather usually just calls her Lorraine.
Her middle name is Leanne.
Lorraine is an okay name, and I always thought Lori was pretty cute. Truth be told I'd rather be just plain Lori than Lorraine; most all the Loris I ever knew weren't Lorraine or any other name but Lori.Lorraine Alice, I guess, though I really hate the name Alice. Prefer Allison.
