No one I know in likes Sybil, one of my favorite names! Many on here have liked it over the years. I am hoping Downton Abby will soften some of my family to it.
I think I only had one BtN user like the name I chose for my daughter, Jovianne. It is different, but we love it! Most people I run into seem to like it.

How do you pronounce it? Is it JOVY-anne?
I like Sibyl. I think for people of a certain generation it screams MULTIPLE PERSONALITIES, but that whole story turned out to be BS, and I think it stands alone as a good, strong name. It's not wimpy or victim-y to me, it's take-charge. I like that.
