Re: Harrison- yay or nay?
I've been closely associated with a family whose surname is Harrison all my life, so to me it is extremely surnamey and unusable even if I did like it a lot as a first name. I think it's just okay. It's almost Jackson-level surnamey. But it doesn't have all that (annoying IMO) sporty / souly / Cash & Cartery baggage that Jackson has. The only baggage on Harrison is from the whiteness and brooding of Harrison Ford, and also that it's vaguely presidential. Oh yeah, and then there is George. Harrison isn't at all like Lennon, though.- mirfak
