Keely - This is a relatively new name to me. I like it, since it seems to have a lot of spunky-ness, but I recognize that it is not so girly-girly. I guess I would love to know someone with this name but would never actually use it.
Corinna - So classic to me. I think it is adorable. If I didn't know a little girl named Corinne, I would have considered this name myself. It also reminds me of the Whoopi Goldberg movie, which was adorable and awkward.
Thistle - noun names are tricky, and I would say that the meaning of this one rules it out as usable to me. If you want an alternative, look to Briar.
Maven - So cute! I think this was used in an animated film a couple of years back and even my mom (so hard to please) commented on how lovely it was. It sounds so elegant and sophosticated, bordering on high-brow... but the short simplicity makes it cute, Good name.
Fern / Ferne - Torn on this name. It sounds nice, but its just... its Fern. If you are an early-type person who would also consider Moss and Meadow, it works. If you are not, it's a bit out there. (note: I love Meadow)
Felicity - My sister is a Felicia and I have always loved the uniqueness of her name, but never been fond of the "sh" sound. This name works as it is both dainty sounding and pretty, as well as fresh and uncommon. I do prefer the similar Felice though. Ansel - Unique. I like it. A little more universal than Hansel and looks chic. I dont think I would use it myself, but I like it.
Amos - Love it! I do... It's on my little a-list with Abner, Abram and Arlie. Adorbs.

I prefer Ansel for a boy and Fern for a girl.

Keely - a little too trendy and modern sounding for me
Corinna - love this name. So elegant.
Thistle - the plant association isn't a great one for me. I'd rather stay away from thistles.
Maven - I think it's cute and I like the nickname may or mave, but there is something trendy about it that I dont' like.
Fern - To me, this name evokes the 70's.
Felicity - Okay, so I may be biased, since this is my actual name, but I love it.Ansel - just don't like how it sounds.
Amos - I love Amos. It sounds so mature and wise to me.
Cassidy - I know a girl named Cassidy, so it is a girl's name to me.
Zephyr - Just a little too outside of the box for me.
Wren - Once again seems like a girl's name to me.
Larkin - Just a little too outside of the box.

Keely- I'm not so sure on this. It sounds childish.
Corinna- Like this a lot. That A at the end makes a big difference between Corrine and Corinna, in a good way.
Thistle- Not liking this one. I like nature names but this one just sounds harsh and gives an unnatural lisp when you say it.
Maven- I like this, it's sleek and brings to mind a dark burgundy color. I like Mavis slightly better, because of the bird connection and the retro feeling of it.
Fern / Ferne- Another nature name I dislike. It just falls so flat, just FERN, you know. Kind of just plops there and doesn't do anything.
Felicity- This, on the other hand, is bright and light and melodical. I like it.Ansel- I like Ansel. Again, the difference between Hansel and Ansel with one letter is huge. It could also be the Hansel and Gretel association, and the lack of it with Ansel.
Amos- If someone hasn't already mentioned it, I will- he's going to get a lot of anus jokes.
Cassidy- I like Cassidy for a boy. It's fresher. And Cass is a cool nickname for a boy.
Zephyr- This is too out-there for my tastes.
Wren- I like Wren on both genders, but maybe slightly more for a boy.
Larkin- I'd use just Lark, on either gender.

Keely - I agree with Caroline in regards to this one. It doesn't really hold any appeal for me.
Corinna - I want to like it, I really do, but I just can't get behind it for some reason. It just doesn't click for me.
Thistle - This is actually one of my favourite words, not so much names. I can't see it working particularly well on an actual human.
Maven - Not a fan. I'd much prefer Maeve.
Fern / Ferne - I can definitely see the appeal of this one, it's short, sweet, and a little soft sounding.
Felicity - Again, I see the appeal, but I'm not quite as fond of it as I am Fern. Ansel - Terribly handsome! Love it, and I love the Ansel Adams connection.
Amos - I added Amos to my list just yesterday, I think. It's taken such a long time to grow on me, but I'm glad it has.
Cassidy - Not a fan.
Zephyr - I love it, but I'm never sure how usable it is. It's always been in limbo between usable and guilty pleasure for me.
Wren - Much prefer on a girl, but I can see the appeal for it on a boy, too.
Larkin - I was about to say it was too modern for me, but then looked it up. I can definitely get behind it a little more knowing it's a medieval name. I think I'll have to mull it over some more.

Keely - seems the kind of trendy of 5-10 years ago. Like, "oh this is my daughter Keely Mackenzie and my other daughter Kaylen Kenley. We're totes Irish." Corinna - I know a weird one. And know I don't a Corrine I really don't care for, so this name is done for in my book. Plus I think it's ugly in sound.Thistle - I think of this as Malk's name and it goes well with her style. Maven - Sounds like the name a dungeons and dragons playing nerdy girl would choose. I used to be Meaghan but now I'm Maven and I wear lots of black! Fern / Ferne - I heard someone refer to a woman's ladyparts as a Fern once and since then this name has been ruined for me. I never liked it anyway, so no great loss. Felicity - Sorta twee. Mirfak has gotten to me. It's ok. Ansel - I predict that this is gonna be cool in the hipster world pretty soon if it isn't already. Ansel and his brothers Hamish and Ned. Amos - Erase Ned. Ansel and his brothers Hamish and Amos (too rhymey? we did it ironically!) All in black skinny jeans and The Clash t-shirts. Cassidy - it's absolutely vomitous for a girl and not much better for a boy. Zephyr - Ansel, Ned/Amos, and Hamish's cousin whose dad is a drummer and who goes to Waldorf school somewhere in Brooklyn. (I'm having fun with this) (Zephyr favors The Velvet Underground)Wren - Zephyr's older brother. But he didn't live up to his parents' expectations and likes football and wants to go to college in Texas. He resents his name. Larkin - I love it. A skinny, thoughtful little boy with glasses.

My absolute favorites are Fern and Ansel, which, incidentally, would constitute a smashing sibling set. I'm also fond of Corinna, Felicity, and Amos. I kind of like Cassidy and Larkin as well.

Fern is really nice, but not with Felicity. Felicity is annoying in any case. Corinna is okay but I much prefer Karina/Carina.
Thistle is ridiculous and My Pretty Ponyish, and Maven means an expert.
The boys' names are so YA fantasy dystopian comic.
