I love Cade. I'm happy to see it used as a middle name, but I'd be happier to see Cade Emerson rather than Emerson Cade. I don't care for Emerson as a first name. If it's a family name, I can see using it a middle name, but I'd still avoid it as a first name. Do you think there's any chance he'll be called Emmy? I'd hate Emerson for a girl, also, but at least there'd be the chance of that feminine nickname. It's not a chance I'd want to take with a boy.
