It's too bad,I can't like Martha. For me it has a frumpy image, a stiff, rule-keeping person.

I like Martha a lot! Versatile, good history, uncommon. However, I'm not a fan of Martha Lily. I just don't think 'Lily' holds up. I'd prefer Martha Lillian or Martha Camellia for similar pairings.

Martha is OK, just, with the European pronunciation of Marta. I still wouldn't use it, but nor would I run from the room with my hand over my mouth. With the -th- sound as well as spelling, it really is quite dreadful and not something I'd even think of using.Martha Lily? Meh. I'm not fond of droopy Lily, and it's getting a lot of use at the moment. But in the mn slot, why not?

Oh, it's just so cute. Very sweet and homey and cozy.Lily is absolutely everywhere right now, so I'm very tired of it. I work at a day care and I know the following:Lily- 2
Lillian- 2 (one of whom goes by Lily)
Liliana- 1Then there's the multitudes of Ellie, Ella, etc- more L sounds- there's just way too much of it going on right now. Sorry for the mini-rant! Lily is a family name for me, so I very much like it- it's just too popular.

Martha has always been a name I like actually. I know a lot of people find it "old and frumpy", but I think there is a sweetness to it. Martha Lily is a lovely combo.

I quite like Martha. It's a sweet, quiet, unassuming sort of name, yet strong and solid. Martha Lily is very lovely. It fits with my opinion of Martha perfectly.

Well, I personally wouldn't use Martha, but it's a nice name. It makes me think of Martha who is one of my favorite companions on "Doctor Who". Martha Lily is a nice combo.

I really like Martha. My favourite combo with it is Martha Lucy, I prefer that to the similar Lily.
