Re: Nightclub Names
Every nightclub bouncer I've ever known on a personal/friendly level has been a Vin/Vinny/Vince/Vincent or some form of Louis. Is that a requirement? Like, you have to have a pre-agreed bouncer-ish name? Anyways, I like them both, but yeah, very nightclubish. If there were a space-themed nightclub in my area called Cosmo, I would give it all my money. I love this. I like Cosmo's greasiness, I like space... are space-themed clubs even a thing? You might have just struck gold.On a completely different tangent, Joachim confuses me. I've just learnt that it's said WAH-keem, but I've been saying it jo-a-keem or jo-keem my whole life. I'm dumb, and this name is definitely, however you say it, a skeezy nightclub name.I am willing to bet good money that there clubs/club-celebrities/club-owners who have trademarked Luz, Lux and Yma already. Yma is one of those names which are so edgy it'll cut itself, or something. Amazing.Only things I disagree with are Lorena and Simone. I think they're quite elderly. The others, like Dahlia, Raquel, Vivian, Margaux, are definitely classically vampy enough to fit in with any nightlife scene.

Joaquin is wah-keen, I think, but Joachim is jo-a-kim or yo-a-kim.
