At first I think of Donald Duck, which makes me smile, and I think "it's not bad."

Then I remember Donald Trump and that means it's impossible for me to like.

My grandpa is called Donald, so I do find it dated. Unfortunately I think a lot of people will think of Donald Duck.

I don't really like it. It's sort of dorky and not in a good way on top of being dated. Like, are there any Donalds who don't go by Don?

I was very very surprised when I found out my fiancé's second cousin named her (now 1 year old) son Donald Ray.

I prefer Donovan. makes me picture some male much younger and attractive. Or evwn the nickname, Donnie for Donald is not as 'grown man material"

I am not hugely fond of Donald, I think it's the hard D at the end because I just adore the Irish form Donal / Domhnall

It's definitely dated, but compared to a lot of other really dated names that people on here seem to love, it's not too bad.
