Re: Offbeat Names WDYT?

Calla - I really like this name. With Ella so popular, I can see Calla working quite well.
Cezanne - Never heard of it. Looks off to me, somehow. I'd prefer Cillian and Suzanne, depending on the gender.
Henley - I could see this one working, and I like how it looks, but I don't care for the sound. Not my cup of tea anyway.
Allelujah - Hmm. Nah, I don't like this as a name, though I adore the nn's Lou and Lula. I think Allelujah would get really awkward during worship services. It's one of the reasons I'm hesitant about Hosanna, though I do like it.
Makepeace - Interesting, certainly. If anything, I could see Peacemaker working better as a name. But I wouldn't use either. It could be pulled off though, especially as a middle name.
Monet - It's a surname to me. I don't really care for it as a full name, though I do think it's spunky and artsy. Maybe for a middle.
Novella - This is a GP for me. I could actually see this working really well, though it might be a little cheesy. I do like it, though.
Plume - Makes me think of nom de plume, or plumes of smoke. I like Plum, though, especially as a middle name.
Tobijah - I like Tobiah, and Abijah, but I don't care for Tobijah.
