I bet the parents are not namenerds and that they just don't care.
As for siblings with basically the same name? Yeah, me and my brother.
His name is Nicklas (Swedish version of Nicholas) and my name is Nicole.
I've tried to explain to my mother a couple of times that me and my brother basically have the same name. She still doesn't get it.
