Re: Thoughts on these Uncommon male names?
Aeson - I think it looks horrible. I don't like that the pronunciation doesn't make sense with the spelling.
Amarlic: Dude, that's kind of cool. That's a type-o though, right? Amalric, you mean? I like Emeric and Alaric, so this fits the bill.
Cainan: Then I'd spell it Caanan. So then it's only a good name if you are okay with Biblical associations.
Calix: Callix yes, Calix no
 Claud - awesome!
Davin: That pronunciation makes sense because of Gavin. But I feel like at least half the people would say it DAY-vin because of the bajillion names with the long 'a' sound. And because of David. Maybe you would like Tavis?
Delroy - awesome. I enjoy 'del' names. Odell. Cadell. Quidel. And 'roy's too. Conroy.
Fabrizio: Overkill.
Farran: Isn't that a girl name? Sounds feminine to me.
Garth - meh, not very interesting
Havel: doesn't sound good. Looks like 'hovel'
Ignas: Girl name Agnes got worse and looks like 'iguana'
Ravi: Makes a great nickname. Not bad as a full name
Tafari: very cool!
Tiras: Like it. Not intuitive to pronounce, but I like it.
Zef - great nickname
Three boys nappin', one mama namenerdin'

Havel- I'd say 'hovel', since that's the last name of a Czech writer, and it's pronounced closer to hovel than Hazel with a v instead of a z.
