I am honestly surprised by all the Matthew hate! It's not a favorite of mine by any means, I just didn't realize how many people hated it. I definitely agree on Micah though, I loathe Micah. On both girls and boys.

Thing is a lot of people like or love Matthew. A lot. Check out its popularity statistics. The people who frequent this board are a small group, very small contrasted with the general public. The general public loves Matthew. And the people who do frequent this board are "name-nerds" for the most part, and in many ways for most of us, our taste contrasts with that of the general public.
BTW, I hate Matthew, lol. It's because of the THYOO ending.
