Re: Hesper Sue
Hesper yes, Sue... eh, not so much. I love Susan and Sue actually but using them to combo with Hesper almost makes the name sound country-hillbilly. Hesper is so versatile that I think it can pair with unisex names (like Hesper Elliot) or very frilly names (like Hesper Evangeline), as well as classics (like Hesper Margaret) or quirky names (like Hesper Starlight). I personally would go with something like Hesper Vale, Hesper Zaina or Hesper Terese as they add to the prettiness of the name without bringing it back to common-use. I am also a fan of the over-the-top middles with Hesper... so I might go with Hesper Valentina or Hesper Melisande... and even something quirky like Hesper Jubilee would be wonderful. As for Hesper Sue, I would still be impressed to meet one. However, I think that Hesper has too many possibilities to pair it with something so ordinary as Sue. ______________________________________________
