HelpRe: Three questions

1. I think Connie et al is too feminine. All the Connies I know are female. I have a character in my fanfic named Constantius, and his hated nn is Cony. I can see how it's a perfect fit as a nn for Con- names, but no.
2. Jason is dated t me. I don't know a ton of them, but most are in my age bracket. This is the best choice of the three imo, not that it should matter if you are going to use these in real life.
3. Alaric is too unusual for me. Yes, I know two Athenas from my rural area, but people are at least familiar with the major Greek gods and goddesses. Alaric is more obscure.
