HelpRe: What's the closest name to your own you'd use IRL?

My best friend growing up was Erin and her mom was Karen. Erin's middle name was Caitlin which is another connection to Karen.
I think the closest I'd go is Katherine or Emmeline. Neither are very close but people always confuse Katherine with Caroline and Emmeline has the same ending. I've thought about naming a daughter Caroline as a kind of "girls can do this too" tradition starter, but then I'm like, meh, I don't love the tradition anyway. It's like "I'd like to have a child who's exactly like me, with the same name and everything, so that I may live vicariously through her!"
