Re: Poshest of Posh Names

A lot of the suggested names don't strike me as posh like Coco, Indigo, and Inca Skye. Some of these names such as Elektra are certainly old classically inspired names that would appeal to those who enjoy Greek mythology. Helvetica is a type font and would probably appeal to hipsters and some Geeks as a name but doesn't seem particularly upper-crust. Esmeralda reminds me of 'The Hunchback of Notre Dame.'
Wulfstan, Clarendon, and Tancred do seem like they could appeal to the British upper class. I think Leopold, Bertram, Clarence, Reginald, Augustus, Althea and Sinclair could come across as posh although it would depend on the bearer.
Thanks for posting the links. There are some interesting and amusing name combos in here.
