Rigby - Rigby = The Beatles, Wrigley = gum. Though Wrigley sounds nice too.
Quinton - I like Quincy better on a girl. On a boy it feels a little limp. Not to mention I adore Quentin.
Cadell - Odell is kind of cool in a hipsterish way. But it's still a little to "hillbilly" sounding for my taste. Cadell has less baggage in my mind.
Elam - you're nailing all my favorites ;) Aram is nice too but I know one, and only one, so he's all I'll ever think of. That and I'm just really drawn to any boys name where "E" can be a nickname.
Emery - I like Avery ok too but again, I default to "E" ;)
Callahan - Calloway is all golf club to me (Callaway)
Callahan - Gallagher is all 'Oasis.' Noel Gallagher is quite a character
Evander - I like both. But Everett is the name of HS classmates son so I consider it off limits and my SOs name is Evan Andrew so Evander is an easy like.
Finn - they're both too insubstantial on their own, I think, but Finn is at least sort of handsome. Flynn is thin.... and phlegmy.
Miles - Giles it too, pompous, or something. Plus Milon ("MY-lun") nns has been a love of mine for awhile.
Lachlan - I'm not a huge fan of either, and I tend to like "Link" better than "Lock" but Lachlan feels sturdier to me. Lincoln doesn't feel masculine OR feminine... It's in no mans land.

That you for the clarity on Odell. I now have words for the nagging feeling I've always had about it. :)
I pronounce Joash with equal emphasis on the jo and the ash.

Rigby, because it isn't gum
Quinton, because it doesnt sound like a food
Cadell, because it doesn't start with Odd
Aram, because I prefer the sound
Avery, because Emery makes me think of emory boards
Calloway, because I prefer the sound
Ditto
Everett or Evander? I feel lukewarm towards both. I'll say Evander, the whole name just flows better
Finn, I can't get into the sound of Flynn
Miles, because Giles has always sounded weak and wimpy and poncy to me
Lachlan, because it's awesome
Mateo, because I love the sound and the nn Teo
Monroe, because it sounds more like a name and because Murdoch is a school where I'm from
Rowan, because rowan trees are nice and Roman just doesn't sound like a person name to me, and because Rome is one of y least favourite cities
Tiago, because it's spunky and I hadnt heard of Tadeo till now but I'm not a fan
Joash, because I love the sound of it, especially the ash part.

Quincy and frogs?? Weird.

Rigby or Wrigley? - Rigby, I can't look at Wrigley without wanting to hurl
Quincy or Quinton? - Quincy, it's more fun
Odell or Cadell? - Odell, though I like how Cadell looks, I think it sounds off, and gets turned into "cattle"
Aram or Elam? - Aram, more handsome. Elam is cool, but Aram is sexy
Avery or Emery? - Avery, Sharper and chic
Callahan or Calloway? - Callahan. Calloway sounds better for a girl (love it for a girl, reminds me of my old GP Caraway for a girl.
__(previous winner)__ or Gallagher? - Gallagher. Rugged!
Everett or Evander? Evander, it's more romantic and poetic (yes, despite Holyfield)
Finn or Flynn? - Flynn. I find Finn irksome and hyperactive, Flynn is more dashing
Giles or Miles? - Giles!! STUDIOUS vs. bratty
Lachlan or Lincoln? - ugh, tough one, I hate them both...Lachlan I guess, it's less ridiculous and flakey.
Makaio or Mateo? - Mateo. Makaio sounds like a brand name to me
Murdoch or Monroe? - Murdoch. Swoon city. Like if tall, dark and handsome had a name.

I pronounce Odell and Cadell with the emphasis on the second syllable. oh-DELL and kah-DELL. Does that impact your cattle comment?

Hm, in that case, I prefer Cadell as a real-world option. Like I'd rather be a Cadell than an Odell. But Odell is so cute...

Rigby. I have a name crush on Rigby. Quincy. I'm pretty sure that I'd prefer the sound of Quincy regardless, but I went to school with a Quentin that was the "That kid will have an arrest record by the time he's 14" types. Nothing to do with the name, but he was friends with a kid I later saw on the local news' "most wanted" by the time I was 25. Cadell. I like hard C names quite a bit. I don't like that many O names. Elam. No real reason, just prefer the sound. Emery. The first Avery I knew was a female. The first male Avery I knew turned out to be a pedophile. Yikes. Callahan. I like the sound. Father Callahan is kinda cool. Calloway/Callaway is golf. Callahan. Because watermelons. Everett. Ever is my favorite word based on sound. And I like Ulysses Everett McGill. I don't like Evander Holyfield. And I consitently mistype it as evader. Finn. Finn is much more awesome than Flynn in every way. Miles. He's sweet and charming. Giles is prancy and thinks too highly of himself. Lachlan. Unfair question, though. Makaio in theory, but I'd probably be more likely to use Mateo irl. Murdoch or Monroe? Not sure. I don't like either really. I just hear Rupert and Marilyn.

Holyfield is soooo sexy. I am not sure to what degree that opinion of mine influences my love of Evander. :-D

Rigby or Wrigley? Rigby because Wrigley is wriggly.
Quincy or Quinton? Quinton. Not a strong preference, though.
Odell or Cadell? Cadell - seems more first-namey
Aram or Elam? Aram. Nicer sound, I don't like eel
Avery or Emery? Avery. Emery sounds like Emily
Callahan or Calloway? Callahan
__(previous winner)__ or Gallagher? Gallagher. not a strong preference though
Everett or Evander? Everett. Rolls off the tongue so much more nicely.
Finn or Flynn? Flynn. Finn = "thin"
Giles or Miles? Giles. Miles = mild. Giles sounds much more masculine to me.
Lachlan or Lincoln? eh... I don't have much preference. Lachlan, I guess.
Makaio or Mateo? Makaio. Mateo's alright ... not as interesting though.
Murdoch or Monroe? Monroe. Murdoch = Rupert
Roman or Rowan? oh too hard to choose! ... depends on the person. If I were naming a son, probably Rowan.
Tiago or Tadeo? Tiago. not a strong preference
Joash or Josias? Josias, but I dislike both.
