Sad sightings
Like actually sad, not "who names their kids this" sad.
I'm not sure if this has been posted already, but I just found out about it today.
A woman from Quebec, Sonia Blanchette, starved herself to death while awaiting trial for the killing of her three children, Laurélie (5), Loïc (4), and Anaïs (2). Some of the lawyers involved were named Jean Pierre and Marie France, and Sonia worked for a woman named Manon.

I once knew a woman named Michele who abandoned her special-needs son. I know that's not near killing your own children, but it's still sad.
That's heartbreaking.
The children had really lovely names. I had never heard of Laurélie before. It has a nice sound.
