Like Elizabeth, Adelina is too long for everyday use. So it'll probably shorten to Addy, Lina or Leigh. If you like those nns, go right ahead and use it. If not, not.

I know many Elizabeths that get called by their full name. I even have had people request that I call them their full name and not a nickname.
I think if you wanted your daughter to be called Adelina, you could. Though she might want nicknames herself later on.
