I was reading an article on local baby names in N.I and a few of the more unusual names have been listed, thought I would share.

Deimante
Jersey
Leia
Pyper

I'm fond of Zoltan, Oberon, and Avigail.

I just don't know why Maksymilian (my name BTW), Ezekiel and Avigail are considered unusual according to the Belfast Telegraph.

- Maksymilian -> Polish form of Maximilian
- Ezekiel -> not a made-up name, obviously
- Avigail -> a Hebrew form of a well-known name

All the others, they are, at least, a bit unusual.

I like River, Blaze (though I would go for Blaise) and Avigail. Pyper spelled like Piper is nice.

Didn't Kate Winslet name her baby Blaze?

I first heard the name Avigail two or so years ago - there's a young actor called Avigail Tlalim.

Oh god Maksymilian and Pyper just hurt to look at.

I actually kinda like River, Oberon, Ezekiel, Jersey, and Leia! As guilty pleasures tho, don't think I'd ever use them. Thanks for sharing!
