Re: Unisex Names
in reply to a message by Indy
Most of the unisex names I only like for one gender or the other, but let's see.
On either gender, I like:
Darcy
Hollis
Indigo
Kit (as a nn)
River
Sparrow
Also there are a couple I like for both genders, but with different spellings:
Frances / Francis
Lauren / Loren
And I'm aware it's not unisex, but I like Phyllis on both genders; when I was a kid I thought it was a male name because of its similarity to Phillip and used it on a male character. I didn't find out it was a female name until later, and then I liked that too, but not as much as I liked it for boys. So it's always felt unisex to me, even though I'd never actually use it.
you taught me the courage of stars before you left
how light carries on endlessly, even after death
with shortness of breath, you explained the infinite
how rare and beautiful it is to even exist
