Re: What do the names you'd choose say about YOU?
in reply to a message by whim
You don't like a lot of frill and prefer discussions based on fact rather than fancy. I imagine that you are both thrify and clever when it comes to recycling, and you are environmentally conscious. You enjoy simple things and believe that a child brings personality to a name rather than the other way around. You like myths and history, but believe that they are an escape rather than a way of life. You are a lot of fun, because you enjoy the whimsical and colorful - yet you can be very assertive when it comes to your beliefs on human rights, child-rearing and politics (the latter you prefer not to talk about). I would say that you enjoy the outdoors and think children should be very active as well as focus on learning. Tradition is not very important to you, as you value reason and experience over it. You believe that, given new evidence, every opinion can be changed and that we should be more focused on how we feel and treat each other than the structure behind it. You also have a weakness for things that are cute or smell nice - and love games and puzzles.
Those are the human characteristics of your names to me. Hope I am close!______________________________________________

I think frill has a time and a place. I'm thrifty. I love to recycle and feel guilty if I don't. I'm a bit of a minimalist and do enjoy simple things. If I'm honest, I pride myself on my lack of possessions. I could easily pack all of my personal belongings into a carry on.I'm into art and exploring various cultures so myths and history tie into that perfectly.I do like to think I'm fun. Though, I'm not as much fun as I used to be. I have my niece a few weeks a month and she has put a real damper on the spontaneity.I think the outdoors are amazing. I grew up on a farm and was always allowed to roam the hills as I pleased from an early age. I think it helps to instill a sense of independence and a love of nature in children. I allow K, my niece, to come and go as she pleases within the area around my home. It would be a different story though if I were situated near other homes, a road, or any water.Education is a huge deal to me. I may not support all traditional methods but I will always encourage people to learn. I try to learn something new everyday. Are there people who don't love cute things or things that smell nice?! I also like puzzles and things that make me think. You did an awesome job. Do I know you? lol
