If you were here in Texas, I'd hope you were from out of the country, but silently judge you as being pretentious if you weren't. If I found out that you were from the UK, I'd have a complete change of attitude and probably say, "Ohhhhh! Ok." and then I'd want to meet you. I'd still wonder why you were on my side of town, though, because I'd expect you to be classier and live in the rich district.
