Isn't Scott a dad name now? One of those short butch names that was "fresh" in the 60s and basically went out with the 80s, like Jason, Brian, Chris, Jeff, Kevin, Eric, Todd, Craig, Brett, Brent? A typical name of my peers born around 1970. Now, when I hear of a baby named Scott, he's named after his dad.
Scott's probably one of the harsher ones ... it's sort of preppy too. Stylewise somewhere between Blake and Wyatt, via Jared. I was turned off to it in first grade when my classmate Scott annoyed the girls at recess, and the sound of it is not my style, but I think it's a decent name. Sounds like a reliable, energetic guy.
