Cyrus is awesome and different, use that.
Alexander and Ashton are popular and less interesting. Alexander "Sasha" would be my second vote.

Cyrus Herald / Cy Herald are both awesome AND uncommon. Love it! I do like Alexander Herald as well. In addition Alexander Scott has a far better flow than the other two combos. As a fn/surname, Ashton Herald doesn't flow as well as the other two, imo, and I confess Ashton seems more feminine than masculine to me just because I've seen it used for several girls of varying ages.

I'd choose Cyrus.
Alexander is a handsome name, certainly. But, as you're using Scott, might be nice to include the Persian influence.And Cyrus is a name anyone can say and spell.

Alexander Scott Herald is a great combo but I imagine Alexander would be shortened to Alex, which I can not stand. Cyrus Scott Herald would be my choice. I like that it honours your wife's roots and it is less common than Alexander and Ashton but not strange in any way.
