Caroline vs Charolotte
I think Caroline actually use to be more common than Charlotte (at least that's how it felt when I was growing up). Charlotte was basically unheard of, while Caroline (or Carolyn or whatever spelling) was reasonably common. I had a cousin Caroline and I knew another Caroline pretty well when I was fifteen. I was seventeen before I ever met another Charlotte. But now Charlotte is stupid popular in nearly every English speaking country. I honestly think Caroline is a better name; it just sounds nicer to me. I guess less overly "little girl" - that 'ette' at the end of Charlotte!
