I think that they really work well together!

Cute, but Lucca should be Luca. In Italian, the double C is actually pronounced like the English "ch," which will look especially wrong when paired with Italian "Gino." I'm pretty indifferent towards the name Gino, but I love Luca and they're a handsome pair.

Lucca wouldn't be pr. "ch" before A; the pronounciation would still be "LOOK-a". CC is pronounced "ch" only after E and I.

Ah ok, my mistake.

Seems standard trendy Italian to me. I like them both, though I prefer the Luca spelling. Gino is a popular nickname for a couple of my uncles so the familiarity gives the name a soft spot for me. They actually match well in style and cadence, so I think it is a good choice - even if I wouldn't necessarily choose it myself (too many other Italian names I love).

I wonder that they might be a little culturally stereotypical. In any case, change Lucca to Luca.
