Hi, I love the name Dottie but I dislike it as a nickname for Dorothy (although Dorothy is a nice name). I heard it once as a nickname for Juliette but I was wondering if anyone could think of/ come up with some more names it could be a nickname of?

I don't like Dottie. I think it sounds like a dog's name.

Well, I fail to see how Juliette became Dottie, unless there's some in-joke, or unless little Juliette or one of her siblings couldn't say her name and Dottie is what they came up with.
Dorothy, Dorothea, maybe Dolores?
Or it could be a (not very grown-up) nn for somebody with a lot of freckles.

Dottie's a cute nickname. Is the person called Juliette nn Dottie the youtuber Dottie James (thisbedottie)? In a video a while ago (which I've just searched for and can't find!) I think she said that her parents initially named her Juliette but not long after she was born they thought of Dottie, which seemed to suit her much better and so she's basically always gone by Dottie.

Yep its Thisbedottie :) And I also really like the idea of Pandora with Dottie as a nickname! I think that would be pretty cool also no one's ever suggested Charlotte which I think Dottie fits really well with Thank you so much!!
