HelpRe: Names you hated earlier that you love now (or vice versa)

I remember hating/disliking/not loving:
Ruth- I thought it just sounded so ugly and also that only old people were called this but recently met a very kind and lovley Ruth
Fabienne- Thought it was too frilly but now I think it's kind of cool
Layne- I thought it was very long and slow to say sort of gluey if you kinda get what I mean but now Laine is one of my favourites!!
Mary- Only ever knew old people with this name and never realised you can give it to anyone, I'm starting to like it more and more
Nancy- This name truly reminded me of both a place called Chauncy Vale (idk why) and the 1950's but then I did a research project at school and realised its kind of a cool name
Edith- I agree with you there I used to hate this name but after reading a book on ww2 with edith as a character I think its pretty alright
