I like it spelled Kailey. I think it makes it look more substantial, and I do think it's a sort of upbeat nostalgically-dated name.
eta: Kaylee doesn't bother me, either, probably because that's the most common spelling in my experience. I've known one Kayleigh before too, but I think that looks way overdone.
