I've never heard of it on a girl. Is there another name with the same sound that is feminine?
eta: After reading other responses, are people pronouncing Micah as MEE-ka? Because that's what Mika is, so they're not at all the same, and thus I'm a little confused. I've known a handful of Micahs my age down to toddlers of people my age and it's all MIE-ka, kind of like Michael.
