Ezra — I’m sooo frustrated by this name. I Love the sound, but my main association with it is Ezra Pound, who was a fascist and a Nazi. And I feel like if I use it, that association stays close because I’m a poet.

Madrigal — it sounds so cool, but it has such a specific meaning (more of a definition really, it’s a word name) and idk. It sounds like a fantasy name and it actually is in the Daughter of Smoke and Bone series.

I loooove Simone and Judith. I think right now people think they’re pretty old fashioned. But obvi they’d be honoring Simone de Beauvoir and Judith Butler (and the Biblical Judith too)
