My cousin Connor was almost named Sonny. My uncle was *obsessed* with that name, and he was pressuring my aunt about it even on the day she gave birth. Luckily she refused to be swayed. He also liked Louis, but Sonny was the name he wanted.
For me, my mom considered Trista, Carissa, and Kristle, and Christopher or Carlisle if I was a boy.
I actually don't know what other names she considered for my brother, I'll have to ask her.
