Meaning of KYRIAN and KYRIA
'KYRIE' is the Greek word for LORD - this can be used for Lord God,
as in the Mass: 'Kyrie eleison' - Lord, have mercy (upon us).
The name KYRIAN means 'Lordly', 'Of the Lord', 'From the Lord'.
The name KYRIA (f), 'Lady', also derives from this root.
