My sister is thinking of names for her baby, a girl. So far there are:
Kelly
Alexandra
Annie
and Riley

I would like to hear any impressions you get from these names. Thanks!

Kelly- too 80's
Alexandra- very elegant and beautiful
Annie- an orphan, I would consider Anna or Ana(ON-a)
Riley- sounds like a boys name

Kelly: Whenever I hear this name, I think of a cheerleader, even more so when it's spelled with an 'i": Kelli.

Alexandra: I think of a studious girl.

Annie: Little orphan Annie! I don't like nicknames as first names, go with Anne (which I prefer as a middle name).

Riley: I think of a boy. How about Rylee Anne or Ryley Anne as the first name?
