The only Tylo I'm familiar with is the character from 1939 Shirley Temple film, *The Blue Bird*. Tylo was the the children's loyal dog, who was changed into a human for most of the movie. I dunno what the name means, though. Oh yeah, they had a cat, too, if I remember correctly, named "Tylette".
